Chimaerae Verae

This limited edition DVD, box and booklet is a project which evolved into a collaborative work between Iain Biggs and Ruth Jones. Both artists share an interest in liminal states and in human-animal border subjectivities. Josh Biggs re-edited the museum footage collected by Ruth Jones to include Super8 material and photographs shot by Ruth in Pembrokeshire, creating a multi-layered film work in which the boundary between real and imaginary spaces is blurred. A hand made box contains the DVD, a booklet of text by Iain Biggs and three photographs by Ruth Jones.
